Mrs. Melissa Skinner

I graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor's degree in English Literature before continuing my post-secondary education at the University of Alberta with an after-degree in Education. Since graduating, I have taught grades ranging from 1 through 7 at three schools: Maryview School, St. Patrick’s Community School, and now St. Marguerite Bourgeoys all within Red Deer Catholic. 

I am passionate about providing a learning environment where students are active participants in their learning. I strive to create a positive classroom culture where students are not afraid to try new things and achieve their full potential. 

When I'm not teaching, I can be found either reading a good book, doing arts and crafts, hiking, or spending time with my husband and my dog.
